LIMITED CAMP INSURANCE is provided for persons in case of accident or illness while at camp. This insurance is secondary coverage, with the family's insurance as primary. If a camper has no insurance, the camp insurance is primary. Parents will be notified in cases where professional medical care is needed.
Three forms will accompany the camper confirmation. The HEALTH FORM (pdf) must be completed by the parent/guardian and MUST BE BROUGHT TO CAMP ON REGISTRATION DAY (DO NOT MAIL THIS FORM).
Please complete the CAMPER DATA FORM (pdf) and mail to the campsite address listed on the form. The GUIDE FOR CAMPERS AND PARENTS form provides program details, what to bring and travel directions for your information. In the case that you misplace the forms sent to you after registration, PDF editions of some of these forms are available on this website.
SESSIONS AND CABIN GROUPS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO SMALL GROUPS OF 8 TO 12 CAMPERS. Groups are formed on the basis of age and school grade. Campers may request to be grouped with ONE BUDDY. Buddy requests must be made at the time of registration. As new friendships are encouraged, groups of four or more will be divided.
CAMPER GROUP ACTIVITY LISTS included with the session descriptions itemize the activities associated with the particular session. Camper groups will design their daily activities schedule from this list. Note: time constraints do not allow the opportunity to schedule all the activities listed.
$30 OF THE REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Please select and print the CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY for your files.
United Methodist campers from the Abingdon, Big Stone Gap, or Wytheville Districts are eligible for DISTRICT CAMPERSHIPS. Each camp site has limited SITE BASED CAMPERSHIPS.
UNANSWERED QUESTIONS about camp should be directed to your pastor or local church camp coordinator. If up-to-date registration information is needed for any scheduled event at any campsite, contact the Johnson City office at (423) 929-9037, ext 235 and ext 236.
