CONFERENCE STAFF
Randy Pasqua - Executive Director
Randy has been
professionally involved in Holston camps since 1981. Before his
appointment to the Conference Camping Director position, Randy served as
Director of Buffalo Mountain Camp and Camp Lookout. Randy and his wife Jo
Anne, an art teacher, live in Johnson City, Tennessee. They have two
daughters in college, Annie at Lees McRae College, and Jody at Tennessee
Wesleyan College.
Ruby Brown - Secretary
Ruby has worked with Holston Conference Camp and Retreat Ministries since
its beginning in 1986. She lives in Gray, TN with her three cats, Callie,
Mollie, and Tom-Boy. She attended East Tennessee State University and she loves
old movies.
Charles Maynard
Charles has pastored Holston churches for 18 years. Charles and his wife, Janice, an author (a writer of novels), live in Jonesborough, Tennessee. They have two daughters, Caroline, a TV news producer in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Anna, a student at Tennessee Wesleyan College. Ask Charles about his granddaughter, Anastasia. Charles joined the Camp and Retreat ministry in the spring of 2004.
David Leach
David, a native of Knoxville, and a UT graduate (go VOLS) has been involved in the ministry of Wesley Woods Camp since he was a camper in the 5th grade. He and his wife Melanie, a scrap booking consultant and writer of curriculum, live at camp with their two sons, Caleb, 4th grade and Aidin, 1st grade.
Christina DowlingSoka
Christina became the director of Buffalo Mountain Camp in 1992. A United Methodist clergywoman, Christina came to Holston after serving churches in Florida, England, Ohio, and Iowa. Married to Joe-d, a United Methodist pastor, they have two sons. Joel is a freshman in college in Michigan, and Ryan is in the 9th grade at University School, Johnson City, Tennessee. Christina delights in genuine Christian service through camp.
Don Washburn
Don began his service to Camp Lookout in 1998 after serving as a youth, family life, and recreation ministry director in several Presbyterian churches in Memphis. Don and wife, Jackie, have 6 children between them, including Tripp, Courtney, Griffin, Elaine, Jamie, and Joe. Camping for them is a family affair.
Chuck and Heather Jones
Chuck and Heather came to Camp Dickenson in February 2004. Since they met as counselors at Buffalo Mountain Camp, camping has been an important part of their lives together. Chuck brings a pastor's heart to camp, having served churches in the Kingsport and Abingdon Districts. Heather has an advanced degree in early childhood development and has served as a local church Christian educator.
