When we face challenges in life, it’s easy to rely only our own talents and common sense, and neglect the power of allowing Christ to guide our lives.  When we try to share our faith, it’s easy to focus on sharing our own thoughts about religion and our own opinions about the world.  All the while our world desperately needs Christ, not our personal religious preferences. Through our worship this weekend, we will seek to learn from God how to lift Christ up to the first place in our lives and how to lift Christ up for our world so that lives might be transformed and remade in his image.
